I have 2 Maadi's. Both have the 54 on the bottom of the receiver but on the suight block one is marked "93" and one is marked "95". The 93 has a serial # in the 60xxx range and the 95 in the 67xxx range. Finish looks alittle different too. What is the difference?
Both are marked ACC INT/INTRAC Knox.Tn

I'm know expert on these, but I think the 93 and 95 are import years, which would make one a preban and one a postban. Do they have threaded barrels or other evil features?? Like I said, I think the numbers denote year of importation, but don't quote me on that. Good luck with finding more information.

When dealing with imported weapons, the 1989 ban is and still in effect.

Both will have threaded BBL's under the muzzle tack. I'm converting a ACC today. I'll post pics a little later of the operation. I paid $275 +35 ship for my maadi ACC last week. These Maadi's are nice weapons, but most need a sand blast, Park, & Gunkote.

I sold the 95. A few differences upon closer inspection between the 2 were that the 93 had much better machining work done on it than the 95. Also the rivets on the back end of the front trunnion stuck out a little further into the magwell on the 95. While you could load any steel mag into the 95, the Bulgarian waffles were a hit (and mostly) miss to get them to go in. On the 93 no problems. The finish on the 93 is that crappy paint, the finish on the 95 was much better but I figured function over fashion wins.

Looking forward to seeing the patient after the "operation"
