Just picked up a couple Russian bakelite mags at a gun show and thought I'd share what appears to be a halloween gun now.
I noticed something strange on one of the mags (after I had already purchased it of course). It looks like it's starting to blister. Any one have any experience with this?

i don't understand your Halloween reference
I love black poly w/ plum mag, it's just cool

The rifle was built by
Overland and they did the refinishing. It's a gloss Gunkote finish.

(Sorry I couldn't help)
Thanks, I enjoy it. Izhmash makes a fine rifle and arsenal does a fine conversion.

I got a Tula and a Izhmash for $80. Not sure if that's a good price but it seemed worth it to me. The blisters didn't seem to affect anything, purely aesthetic.
