Just picked up a couple Russian bakelite mags at a gun show and thought I'd share what appears to be a halloween gun now.

I noticed something strange on one of the mags (after I had already purchased it of course). It looks like it's starting to blister. Any one have any experience with this?

LiquidMetal, who refinished your rifle? It's amazing!

The rifle was built by Overland and they did the refinishing. It's a gloss Gunkote finish.

Thanks, I enjoy it. Izhmash makes a fine rifle and arsenal does a fine conversion.

I got a Tula and a Izhmash for $80. Not sure if that's a good price but it seemed worth it to me. The blisters didn't seem to affect anything, purely aesthetic.
