Why are the Arsenal Siegas Good

Ive heard people say the Arsenal rifles like the SGL-21 are worth the money, but why? I saw a NutNFancy video which showed they are accurate, but how do they differ from say a WASR or other rifle?
Im pretty new to AKs as you can see. I just bought my first and its a 21.

Have you ever SEEN a WASR?
Fit and finish on any Saiga beat a WASR.
That said, they both, like any AK, usually go bang.

Aside from the whole part about Arsenal's being made of all new parts unlike WASR's they also are fitted with AK74 muzzle brakes. Very effective. I've been very happy with my SGL21-71. My only complaint is that the finish isn't very durable.

I've never found a VERY durable factory finish on an AK.
That being said, arsenal is the best factory finish compared to Romanians, norinco, poly, maadi, etc

For me it was basically just irritating that I had to switch to CLP only on my arsenal as using anything else will void the warranty, though I doubt I'll need the warranty anymore. I've caught myself right before I use hoppes on it like i do all my other firearms. Supposedly hoppes will take the finish off. Part of me wants to test it, luckily the other part of me dropped the cash on the rifle, so I play it safe.

Ya don't use that Hoppes! I used some spray gun scrubber,...and boom stripped the finish right off my SGL20. It's now camo rattle can painted. LOL looks like an airsofter threw up on my rifle. Guess I'll save up and have it cerakoted or something in the future.

Yep, Just paint. With all of the fancy schmancy metal treatments out there I wanna see a melonited, Nickle boron, etc, finished AK.
Arsenal can do it! They did it for their "collectors" guns this year. Gold being one finish, silver being the nickle boron IIRC!

Saigas are Izhmash AKs; Izhmash is the home of the AK. They were designed there, and they've been making them there longer than anyone. They are top notch in every way.

I think/hope hes kidding,
if not saiga rifles are imported straight from the factory in Izhevsk the only thing different is there is no Hand guard retainer(but that comes on Arsenal rifles) and Arsenal's have a different AK74 Style front sight block along with a basic conversion to Pistol grip.

Well I bought one this weekend , and let me tell you accurate is not the word! I looked at the ballastic target and I was sold. These things are amazing! I bought the 66 model with the rail on it . This gun is cuttin two holes in one multiple times even when the wife was shooting too. I using wolf ammo and I am glad I bought one. I love my norincio mak90 but this baby has it locked up with the accuracy.

I was at the range my buddy brought his jeresy ny legal 5.45 rifle to break-in.Fit and finish is first rate!Went bang every trigger pull.Accuracy was ak accurate minute of torso!Not any more accurate than my wasr 2.Built better but not much more accurate.I know I'll be flamed for saying my wasr is just as accurate but it's the truth.
