So I decided to look into getting an AK style rifle.

Pretty much all I know, is I want a Russian, in 7.62x39 with wood furniture and uses standard AK mags.. Where do I look?

Start with Arsenal (K-Var)...you'll probably end up there.

from what ive heard they will rip you off somehow... google the company name on the box

Reasonably easy. Ironwooddesigns.com They come unfinished so you can pick the exact color you want.

Yep. I chose the AK74 forend, lightening cuts on the buttstock, and the fat milled pistol grip.
