The Romanian and East German side folders are direct replacements.

Polish Beryl folder as well. I prefer it over the other two.

Hey, thanks for the info! I've got a "non-G" romanian kit that I'm thinking about putting a folding stock on.. Where could I get an east german sidefolder or one of the other sidefolders (aside from the actual romanian sidefolder) ?????

Sometimes the Romanian and East German wire folding stocks come without the mounting screws. If that happens, don’t be too concerned because the screws are easy to find.

For the Romanian//East German side folder, the front screw (inside the receiver) is a 5mm x 10mm and the rear screw is a 5mm x 8mm. Use pan-head machine screws from Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. and they fit perfectly. If they are zinc-plated (silver), sand the head of the rear one and then touch it up with a little cold blue or black paint to remove the shine.

These two screws have a tendency to loosen after extended firing so either check them after each firing or put a small amount of blue Loc-Tite on each to keep them in place. Don't use red Loc-Tite because it’s much more difficult to break free if you ever want, or need, to remove the folding stock.
