Question on Romanian AKM47 bayonet/sheath. Are the numbers on the bayonet and sheath intended to match the serial number of the rifle that the bayonet/sheath was issued with or do they just match the bayonet/sheath combo ???

The numbers are serial numbers for the rifle that the bayonet was originally issued with.
