Scope mounts

Where can I find good scope mounts? What is the best one? I'm new to the AK world so forgive if I ask stupid questions.

Ultimak makes a gas tube mount you should look into.
If you have a side rail, i'd go with a Belarus type mount. They're sturdier than the UTG rail's i've used. You can find any of those at Kalinka Optics.
Texas Weapon Systems makes an integrated rail/top cover, at half the price Krebs would charge you.
Don't settle for a cheapie.

Knowing what kind of optic you were intending to use would make it much easier to give recommendations on mounts.

If your rifle has a side-rail, you may want to consider one of the mounts below.
Both sit directly over the receiver but the one on the left is taller.
