Nodak spud psl receiver
I keep hearing about the nodak spud psl receiver but have yet to see one on their website and rumor has it they were only built for TGI. Anyone know anything about these receiver's? Has anyone ever bought one directly from nodak or is it true that The TGI psl receivers are actually manufactured by Nodak spud? I don't remember if i have posted here before or not but if I haven't hello I'm in richardson TX and I'm getting ready to build my first ak type rifle.
From what I understand, the NoDakSpud receivers were overrun/unpaid order for an unnamed company. They were sold and they had no intention to make more.
Likely, they were meant for one of the importers who were anticipating a shipment of PSLs for refit according to 922r.
To my knowledge, all of these have been long disposed of and there are none on the market from them directly.
Check Centerfire systems for receivers, as they were the last I saw selling receivers.
According to Harlan it was only for a specific group and the only one at the time who had them was Centerfire systems. So I would start with Centerfire and if they don't have any more ask Harlan if he would consider a limited run!

Thats what I thought guess I was hoping for a different answer. I have a few parts kits coming in the mail so I have to order some receivers anyway so I'll call and ask about the psl receivers maybe 1 or 2 fell behind the washing machine or something.

Don't sweat it too much. Where there is a demand there is a supply. Best to get things now while there aren't receivers readily available because as soon as they are the price will go up.

FYI:
The over unpaid stuff was only on the AK-74 model.
We are looking at doing a run of PSL receivers sometime in 2012.
We do not have a timetable or pricing yet. Please be patient.
They need to make a Dragunov receiver instead.

IIRC, somebody is already working on that.

For what parts kits?
My bad, I was mixing that up in my mind with the discussion about the possible import of a "siaga style" SVD.
Cease fire, lock and clear.
great to see NDS on here... i will not use anything other than the receiver they make.... and my nodak psl receiver is by far the best made one to date i love mine (wish it had the original curve though)
