I am pretty new to AK74. Please share you knowledge regarding the Romak 992 in the following pictures:

Here are all the markings:

The rest of the pics:

Were the Romak 992 imported as Hi-Cap rifles or were they converted from single stack? Since there were no markings to indicate the Country of origin for the parts (ie, the receiver, piston, FCG, muzzle brake, etc...), how can you determine 922r parts count? Are parts for AK47 interchangeable with AK74 (especially the FCG, piston and pistol grip)? Thanks for all replies.

I'm gonna guess and say someone demilled a low cap 992 and rebuilt it into a hi cap using an Ohio Ordnance Works (OOW) receiver. As such, it will need 922r compliance. I don't know if the original 992 had any compliance parts, someone else will have to chime in on that.

The receiver is Romanian, not OOW, you can tell by the arsenal stamps and the third chicken foot stamp. They just put their name on it for some reason? I have seen other rifles like this.
