How to tell a real preban polytech type 56 side folder?

Found someone who claims to have a NIB polytech sidefolder with bakelite furniture for $2300. is this a good price if it's legit and what markings should I look for to be sure it's legit? Thanks!

Sounds legit. The sidefolders did have bakelite on the stock.
2300 bucks? Well, thats asking for top price. Depends on how bad you want it.
