What is the fair market price for a MAK-90?
I'm thinking of selling my MAK 90 at the next local gun show I would like to get an idea on how much I could get for it. Its in good to excellent condtion, very light barrel wear, furniture in excellent conditions (no scratches), no rust, very clean.
$400 ish. += depending on your local market.
They were up as high as $600 right before the election, but they have fallen hard along with everything else.
I just bought a LNIB one today for $350. I feel I did good.
I wish I could find one in excellent condition for $400 .these mak 90s are a great value IMO.

Does it make a difference in selling price between a stamped receiver vs a milled receiver?
I would pay $125 more for a milled MAK90 over a stamped gun all else being equal.
Many months before the election I purchased a possibly never fired stamped MAK90 for $400. I felt that was a good fair price.
Today I think a stamped MAK is worth $450-500 for very nice condition, 50 to 150 less depending on damage/condition, and as noted above +125 for milled. I would jump all over a local gun for $350.
I would not pay over $650 for a LNIB milled MAK, or over $500 for a stamped, but have seen people pay a little more.
Note: All numbers pulled from nether regions. YMMV
Note2: Extra mags, drums etc, and 922r conversion could also affect the price. For example, It was $200ish to replace the thumbhole with IWD laminate and replace the OEM FCG with the Red Star forged parts, including a sling and the small parts for the buttstock. I have $600 in it, and would not take a penny less as there is also some sweat labor, and it is an amazing AK. Many would say that is nuts, maybe it is...
A milled receiver gun in nice shape should be $500-$600. Also a stamped gun with a slant receiver back would be worth less than a square back receiver gun. GARY N4KVE
$400-$500 for a factory stamped straight cut mak90 is usual. $450-$600 for a milled mak90. i had a milled mak90 i professionally converted to an underfolder with a Chinese buttstock and polytech legend red furniture i could only get $800 after shipping and had about $1050 into it. i have a straight cut stamped mak with original Chinese furniture, G2 FCG, US piston, 5 US followers and extra T3 milled bulgy GB/FSB (not installed) and cleaning rod and US slant brake that i have a easy $700 into it. so that is a consideration you have to consider when valuing the mak90 if it has been de-banned partially or fully or stock post 89 version, partially being just pistol grip conversion (922 compliant) or fully being barrel threaded, gas block, bayonet lug (type 1 or 2) cleaning rod hole in lower hand guard retainer, muzzle attachment. it becomes expensive like the cost of a true Chinese pre-ban.
