MAK 90 to Type 56 specs

Hi, i did a search, and came up with nothing. I have a MAK 90 made in 94 and imported by A.C.C. It has the longer FSG, and the barrel is not smooth like some MAKs i have seen. Why the change? Anyway, I would like de-ban the rifle. Any help would be great.
