Pinning the SA065/SA-2000 folding stock for ban-state compliance

NY won't like my folding stock. The gun currently lives at my mother's house in PA.

I really want to bring it home, legally. Has anyone successfully turned one of these folders into a solid stock without ugly welding or permanent disfigurement?

This is the single wire-type side folder that uses the screw button under the receiver to release.

Any input appreciated.

PS, I do NOT want to go with wood hardware, and would like to avoid knocking the rivets out to pull the whole thing out.

Or should I just sell it to someone that is allowed to have such things in a non-commie state?

The Krebs adaptor will allow you to affix a non folding stock to it. U just remove the old stock by tapping out the pivot pin and bolt it into place. Then add an ACE fixed stock to the adaptor and your done.

Is that going to be item 33 on this page? http://www.krebscustom.com/PartsPages/KalashnikovParts.shtml

That says something about attaching an ACE folder to it. I need something solid for NY... Or will both attach?

all of them have the same spacing. you can attach a fixed stock.

The DPH Arms, Tromix, and Mississippi Auto Arms stocks use the same mounting bolt pattern as the ACE stock, so they're options also when using the Kreb's adapter.
