TGI AMD 65s- Factory built or TGI build with FEG rec?
I get the impression that these are built by TGI with FEG rec. I did some other research and some say that these are indeed factory built in Hungary, imported, hi capped, and made 922r compliant by TGI.
So what's the real deal with these?
Also, If I go with one, it'll be from Centerfire, but I was at Dunham's and they had one FEG model, but the numbers were not matching. I thought that to be odd as hell.
Anyone hear of any mismatched TGI guns?
While I can't answer for that specific gun, I have seen some that were made in Hungary, & Imported here where they were 922'd & hi capped. GARY N4KVE
The TN guns rep told me they are imported as complete lo caps and modded here––enlarged mag wells and folding stock installed. That's why some people (like me) have horribly cut holes for their side folders, and others have perfect holes. Go to page two, there's a whole thread comparing different AMD 65's and has a lot of good info.
