AMD 65 supplies drying up?
Are the supplies of Hungarian FEG AKs drying up? I noticed a lot of online suppliers - J&G Sales, for one - have run out. I called J&G and the salesman said they weren't expecting anymore.
Also, the prices I see at gunshows are going up. I'm not talking about the Century builds, but the "real" ones.
Centerfire still has the once build on the FEG Receivers. I purchased my AMD from them and I am very happy with it.
How ever you are right the $$$ have gone up they are asking now $599.99
Here is the link to the AMD
Try Classic Arms....They had 1 or 2 left at $499

"CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA OR MICHIGAN. FFL REQUIRED." Wow, MI's folding stock law is fucking gay.

i was wrong, i ordered mine 7/17 and it showed up at my FFL for $399.99 shipped. if i had more cash i'd get another. only down point is that they are built on a SA2000M receiver which as we know is single stack. so it has been milled out by TGI to high cap. they did a good job though, it fits a steel mag just fine. you guys better jump on them quick.

Centerfire seems to make mistakes when ordering from them, but their mistakes always benefit the buyer. When free shipping is no longer available, they give it to you anyway. They list a 3% charge for credit cards, but they never charge it. They're a great bunch of people to deal with.

Not true, I've been hit with it everytime. The only reason i bother to point it out is because I was not awear of it until I got the bill and there was and extra $30 some dollars on it.
I really miss the 65' I got from AIM and regret selling it.

Doesn't matter that it's a converted SA2000M. This is a real FEG receiver made in Hungary. The steel, the build and the heat treatment are very good - mil-spec.

very true sax. the quality is still there but a mill out is never as pretty as a factory hi-cap. they run perfect, so far i love em'.
Centerfire still has them for $389 shipped
I got mine from centerfire with the 3 20rd+pouch package for 417. free shipping for the amd and the mags.
they didn't charge the cc fee either. they said they are waiving the cc fee on certain rifles.
i had a 3 day email volley with them to be sure on the charges and to get answers on some of my questions.
great guys to deal with.
i wanted to get a polish tantal from them as well but they aren't available when i bought the amd.
Where do you find a cheekriser for the wire stock? That makes these pretty cool in my book.

I'm just getting back into the AK market. Are these rifles CAI products or are they good to go?
The guns are from tg international built on FEG Hungarian receivers.
The cheek risers are from
http://amd65tech.com/ and go for 37 dollars shipped.
