 AMD 65 stock

I just got an AMD 65, and I have a stupid question - how do you fold or unfold the stock? There's no directions in the generic AK manual, and I don't want to try and force this thing open if there's a button or latch i have to use.

button on the bottom at the back.

The button that looks like a flat-head screw? It sure is hard to push it in.

Its a pain in the ass. put the barrel on the ground, pull with your right hand and press the "screw" with your left. it will get easier one its broken in.

You can help this along by:

unscrewing the locking button and remove

removing spring

taking out locking block (from the top)

clean mechanism with gun scrubber or other aerosol type gun cleaner

re-lube part with some of the good stuff (tetra paste is my fav)

re-assemble


Mine is butter smooth and locks up bank vault tight.
