removing hand guard and gas tube-AMD-65

I have done this on a romanian but the '65 has no wood on top. how do I get the gas tube out of the site block?-Al

If you have already taken off the top cover, and then removed the spring, AND removed the bolt and carrier assembly...
THEN you just flip the locking lever next to the sight up, just like on any other AK and remove the gas tube upwards when the flat matches up.
