I put 100 rds through my AMD-65 today. I went home and started to clean it. Like on all my firearms I use CLP PB with flawless results. On my AMD-65 it started to pull the black finish off the gun. Just a heads up guys.
Is PB referring to Powder Blast? I imagine that it must have very strong solvents. I read that it's best to just stick with straight vanilla CLP. Thanks for the heads up.

Serb, Could you elaborate more on the straight vanilla CLP? :)
Just the good ol' regular CLP.

I have not had a problem with it removing any finish, but PB probably is much stronger....perhaps because it removes all oil....a solvent, I suppose.
Ooooh ok. I have 3 of those in my room. I will use that next time. thanks!
