 Arsenal SLR-107CR? Need Help!!!

So I've been interested in running an Arsenal SLR-107CR for upcoming tactical classes and any Home Defense/SHTF kind of situation that may arise. Problem is they seem to be out of-production and nobody is carrying them, cant even find them on gunbroker, so my question is...does anybody know any local shops around them or if they themselves or anyone they know is selling one? Want one...really...really...badly

Thanks

scour the EE on this site and every other gun site you can find. Good luck, and in the mean time:

According to K-var there is a shipment coming in this month that will have the 107FRs and 107CRs in it.

We'll see...

when they had them a couple months back they were a little under $1200, if you get lucky you might find one on the forums for under $1000. i got a couple off gunbroker for $1000 each, i was looking for a 107FR for months and gave up.

and zutmeloda, no it's not, it's an SLR105 converted to a krink (5.45x39)

the closest I got to a 107UR is Zens

and to keep you going Marshall:

Damn! That's freakin sexy...I'm jealous of all you guys haha.

I wanted to set up a 107CR like Jay Cunningham's 106CR - http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/56/nightfighter005vd3.jpg,

Just without the lower ultimak handguard (i want the factory lower for that heat shield) and replace the standard irons with night sights, maybe mepro. I use those on the 10/63 I have and they're great.

Tryin to keep it as stock as possible.

I didn't get any emails about the new SLRs from KVAR. Did they mention which models are coming in? I'll probably just give them a call to pre-order one.

Thanks for the heads up.

Some more inspiration for you (albeit in 5.56 rather than in 7.62) - SLR-106CR with PO 3.5x21P.

What's up with the missing cleaning rod on the CR models?

Is it not possible to mount a cleaning rod?
baderrick  [Team Member]

They ship with a full size cleaning rod that must be cut down to fit...

Some claim that AMD rod may work without modification. Haven't tried it personally, but want a rod for my CR to complete the "proper" look.

Hmm interesting. Can anyone confirm this? It seems like the rod should be about the right size.

so it's just a tad too long. Shame. I cut mine down and then had it threaded. Can't recall what thread pitch I used, but the AKM cleaning kit works.

It is more like the Head might needs re profiled to fit at that point plenty of room everywhere else.

You may need to clear your cookies as I changed pictures too.

if I SBR'd mine, I'd use it. I use all my cleaning kits. I think I'm the only one though.

ah, well a 104 is in the works. I have the FS/GB, the stock kit, just need the rifle and Form 1. Still don't have my MP5 yet, and it's going on 5 months now, been told it will be 6+ by my dealer, so if I built one tomorrow, you wouldn't see pics until August, Sept.

I used a AMD rod I bought from Cope's in both the 106 and 107CR's I had. The AMD cleaning kit that Cope's also sells with the red/white plastic bottles has a rod extention that will allow the AMD cleaning rod to be used in standard 16" barrels. They also sold the extention by itself at one time IIRC. Hope this helps as it was my experience and I wanted a functional cleaning rod to be on the rifle and adding this extention in the mag pouch or cleaning kit wasn't a stretch as you need patches and oil/cleaning solvent right?
