Arsenal SLR-106FR to 106CR conversion, can it be accomplished?
I picked up a SLR-106FR for the right price and would love to have the 106CR setup with the shorter barrel and sight setup. Would I be able to get the sight/block combo and have it installed with a 4" FH perma to get the barrel back to 16"?
Another option is KVAR has the barrel assembly complete that needs to be pinned, and headspaced. Anyone gone down this road?
I think you would be better of just selling the FR and buying the CR
The conversion would be expensive, and I've never seen the gas block itself for sale. As he said above, sell the FR and buy a CR.
