Bulgarian Side Folding Triangle Stocks - Do They Lock in the Closed Position?

I was curious whether Bulgarian Triangle Stocks are designed to "lock" in the closed position. I can not imagine they are designed to just flop around. Anyone with personal experience? Is there some sort of front latch that is supposed to work in conjuction with them? Thanks.

yes, there is a latch that sticks out of the receiver. if you install that buttstock on a stamped AK with out the latch, then it will flop around in the folded position. in the open position it will stay locked.

Yes, there is a simple catch at the front of the rcvr...it doesn't lock tight like a Galil or FN where the lock is in the mechanism itself, so it has a little bit of play depending on individual tolerances, but it stays in the closed position.

Mine locks pretty tight, no moving around in the closed position. Its alot easier to deploy and close than the Galil or FN type of folding stock.
