Well, due to unforseen circumstances, it took a couple of weeks longer than expected. It felt like months! So, here she is. Built by Investment Grade Firearms. I don't have the build sheet, but the important numbers match, and I'm fairly certain that it is the Bulgy barrel. Let me tell you; I have never felt an AK trigger this smooth; I kid you not when I say it feels smoother than the one on my Match M1A. He really did a phenomenal job on it. You could not have convinced me that an AK trigger could have felt like that. It's more accurate than I expected, and I've only put 20 rounds through it so far to zero it.

It has been outfitted with an Ultimak mount with vents, and a Primary Arms Micro Gen 7. Perhaps in the future I'll get an actual Aimpoint for this, but damn if those PA red dots aren't tough as nails.

I had actually ordered a polymer stock for this from Henderson Defense, but personally, it didn't feel any different, and it actually didn't want to lock up to the receiver like the original stock.

The one question that I have is this; the spring that holds the stock detent(?) at the receiver seems to be worn out. I sometimes have to finger it over to hold the stock securely. Is there anything that I can do to tighten it up? It seems to be held in place with a rivet on the bottom of the receiver.

The latch at the front of the receiver that holds the stock CLOSED correct? Sounds like the catch spring is broke or the pin came loose? It can be quite complicate for a novice to change or fix. Give IGF a call. I'm sure they will take care of it.

Looks *really* nice. Which parts kit and receiver did you use?
