New to AK's picked up a 74 today and got a few ????

I picked up a AK 74 today in a trade from a buddy, Its says ITM arms on the reciever and he told me its bulgarian.
It has XS big dot sights and K-var funiture and came with 2,000 rds of surplus ammo.
I know nothing about 74's so any info would be appreciated. I got about $500 into the package how did I do?

OK. the ammo is about $150/1000 delivered. J&G is selling ak74s for about $350 without shipping right now.
I suggest you go buy 10 mags, something to carry them in and have fun.
I have found it is best to load up your mags at home while watching tv. When you go to the range shoot until you only have 1 or 2 full mags left. Then head home.

You might also want to hit aimsurplus.com for some more cheap 5.45 before everyone else gets in on the deal.
