century $349 bugy that came with ugly black plastic furniture.i had a rusky ak74 lam set of furniture that was 3 different colors.sanded them down and covered with 3 coats of amber shelak.had a rusky pistol grip also.topped it off with a real Kobra and tula mag from gunjoker.turning out to be my favorite ak.lots of rounds fired with never a jam or misfire.looks close enough for me to a rusky ak74.also fun to shoot.

Man, that looks great! I've been wondering how I was going to re-do mine when I get the chance, and I think you've helped me make up my mind!

I don't know why Century's polymer stock set was made to look so ugly. I realize that the stock, grip and handguards are an easy way for them to get 3 U.S.-made parts to be compliant with Sec. 922R, but it seems like they could've made them look a little more like the military originals.
