I have an Arsenal 105, non folder. Its in the BAN configuration, with no flash suppressor or bayonet lug.

Its got about 150 rounds through it. Its pretty new looking in condition.

Any idea what this is worth today?

I'm considering selling it to someone less fortunate in a ban state.

I'm going to buy one with a f/s, lug and folding stock with said proceeds.

Thanks!

I have no idea about ban state prices, but on the open market it should sell for $500-$550. As long as you can buy a new SGL-31 for $779, the prices of the ban style 105s are going to be depressed.

Thanks Fike.

Shouldn't the BAN state prices be considered when estimating market value?

Have there been any sales of these to ban states recently where I could get a sale price for a comp?

Anybody in a ban state know what these should go for?

Thanks all

seen them as high as 1200, but I think Fike has it right at where it "should" be. I think 7-800 is where I have seen them sell at

This.....

Buyers in Ban states will quite often pay more.
Unless you are in a hurry to sell, I would start at $850

Post it on the EE! Thats is where I found my ban style SLR 105.

I know several local friends in CT who are crying about not being about to find 74s and the ones they find are over priced century built guns they wount touch! BTW we have seen centurys for sale in CT for $750+ !!!!!

That's several hundred dollars low.

SLR-105's - even ban state versions - are a hot item right now. I know, because I was recently shopiing around for one. I didn't find a single rifle selling for less than $750. Especially if your rifle truly only has 150 rounds through it, I'd bet you could pretty easily get close to $1,000 for it on Gunbroker. And on the Arfcom EE, you could get at least $850 I would think.

Interesting.

I'm a big fan of Bulgy guns, but there is no way I would pay close to the price of a SGL-31 for a used 105.

I wouldn't sell mine for less than $800.00 (though I unbanned it). There are no Bulgarian Arsenal AK74 type rifles coming in and they haven't been for some years.

I have a ban style SLR-105 with about 20 rounds through it that I have been thinking of "de-banning". Any idea whether I would be better off just selling it and buying one with the evil features? How much would it likely cost to "de-ban"?

thanks, I put it up on the EE. Hopefully it will find a good home.

Last week you could have got the FSB for $30.00 from K-VAR. They were predrilled which is what I used and they fit/aligned perfectly. They sold out in a couple of days. That and a muzzle device is really the only thing you need. The gas block lug isn't used for much more than accessory mount.

I did it with a 12 ton press I had.
