Are the Bulgarian clear 30rd mags any good?

As far as quality and reliability.

Thanks

Downside of the CLEAR magazines is they do not have any metal reinforcements.

Most of the non-clear mags have metal reinforcements that make them MUCH tougher than just plastic alone!

So, pretty much, stay away from the clear mags.

That's what I figured that the other non-clear mags where stronger.

Thanks

I got one of these to try out last week. Works very well, but is VERY tight in the mag well (may not be so in yours). It did crack in the front where it locks in to the mag well, But still works great in my AK (then again so does an old promag missing most of a feed lip ).

They're ok for range/novelty mags, but they're too brittle for hard use.

Hey just my thoughts

Why would you want the enemy to see how many rounds are left?

I think it would help you more than help a bad guy. If he is close enough for that than you both have bigger problems or would not
have time to take that into account. JMHO

I prefer the black ones but have several clears that have given me no problems.

Are we talking about the Circle 10 clear mags?

I just purchased some of those. In my Polish underfolder they are very loose from front to back. They miss locking in the mag catch by about 1/4 of an inch. I also purchased some Polish clear (more of a matte clear finish) and they fit perfectly. They also have metal reinforcement in the front where the bullet rides. I would buy the Polish well ahead of those Bulgarian mags.

...the only way an "enemy" could count the remaining rounds in my mag... is if I am already dead.

+ 1 for 2nd gen Circle 10 translucent mags... I have been through 2 rough carbine courses with mine and no probs..
Both of my Arsenal 106's kick ass on shoot and move course
