Century M70B1 - Will not feed into chamber from the magazine...

I just got my Century Yugo M70B1 a couple weeks ago, finally found the time to shoot it appears to have an issue grabbing the round from the magazine. Specifically the very first round after I place a freshly loaded mag into it, slide and release the bolt, and it just doesn't grab it. If I push up a little on the magazine and slide, and release the bolt it will chamber one and then continue to do so upon firing, but with some mis-feeds (3 in total with one mag). It is almost as if the magazine is seated too low. I am contemplating just sending it back to Century to have them "fix" it, but if it is something simple, I am open for suggestions. Anyone ever experienced this before?

Thanks,
nsz

Well, I compared my M70 to my Lancaster, and there is clearly an issue with front to back magazine play...anyone know how to fix that?

You shouldnt have to do this but I have had to on some mags.. Is the surface where the mag locks or touches the trigger guard I have had to sand to get the bullet to rise on to where the bolt grabs it and also on some mags that hit the rails only on the extractor side is sand a grove so the extractor dosent stop the mag from seating and letting the bullet to get high enough to get grabbed by the bolt... If ist the gun Id send it back and get it fixed since you sholdnt have to modify your mags to fit just your gun..... If it a home build then Id understand the having to fix the issue and not returning the rifle.....Last before doing any of this make sure you have the right mags for your rifle, I have tried to put my AK74 mags on my AK47 and that dosent work....I stil kick my self in the ass for that.
