 Underfolder tensioning nut timing issue

My tensioning nut (the one with 6 holes) is timed so the three holes the pin can go in are at the six o clock position when snugly tightened. When I operate the button, the pin drops right out.

Any ideas on how to get the holes to thread in tight up top, or to keep the pin from falling out?

couple of things who built it?
some simple fixes ––- use a new pin/ or a roll pin
try turning it counter clockwise to the next hole ( the nut) as the holes are supose to be tight
also you can take a punch and peen the corners of each hole so the pin wont fall out hadt to do tht with my m92 pin that holds in the flip un night sight and after 2300rnds it hasnt fallen back out!! hope that helps

It's a Yugo AB2, I thought about getting a larger pin and being done with it, but where can I find one? 7/64" is the diameter I believe.

Thanks,

OK Fixed it, had to think like a desperate soldier. I hit the pin with a balll peen hammer. Pin mushroomed out on the ends and I was able to drive it in. I'm still going to pursue a roll pin for it though.

Thanks everyone!
