 Help, I think I popped a rivet!

I noticed a missing rivet on my receiver after the rifles first range session today. It's a Yugo M70AB2. Anyone know what rivet I need to fix it? Should I just buy a rivet kit? I have zero experience wrenching on AK's. I know it's probably not a big deal but i just want to make sure i get the right part. Does it just press in or do I need a special tool or a gunsmith? I bought it last week. Only put 120 rounds through it today. I would hate to send it back to Century if I can just fix it myself.

Thanks in advance

You have to pull the barrel to install the rivet. It's possible to DIY if you have all the tools.
I have the tools, but I would take it back if it were mine.

Damn this really sucks! What kind of turnaround time should I expect from Century?

When I had a problem with a CAI build I returned it to the vendor that sold they rifle.

Let them deal with sending it back.

Get a new rifle or a refund.

Man, that really sucks, I had a CAI Yugo that was a really nice gun. I'd get a refund. Having the tools helps, but if you make a mistake (not a knock, it's easy to do, ask me how I know), you're REALLY fooked.

Use the cash from your refund to handpick a WASR UF and buy some ammo.

I'd get the dealer to replace the rifle from their stock or give me a refund.

Why should you wait on CAI?

When I got a AES-10B from classicarms.us that had a floppy magwell and canted FSB, they sent me a UPS tag to return it. As soon as they had the rifle they asked me what I wanted; A refund or another AES-10B. I wasn't left cooling my heels while classicarms fucked around with CAI on the return, they took care of me right away.

Go back and get your money back or a different rifle,

BSW

Hear what yer sayin BSW but I had the dealer special order this rifle. They did not have it in stock and had nothing comparible in the store either that I would be interested in. The dealer is a new shop and they have been a great bunch of guys to me. They had no problem sending the rifle back and trying to make things right. If they were a bunch of dicks I would definately have asked for my money back. As much as it sucks shit happens.

Not all Yugo's have bulges. They are not as common and are often referred to as Flat Sided Yugo's. The Yugo M92, or Krinkov, has a flat sided trunion.

Got the call today my rifle was back from CAI. Went to pick it up and guess what, they shipped a different rifle. Almost 6 weeks for that? WTF....The fit and finish on this new one was not as nice as the one I sent back and the underfolder stock wobbles. The finish isn't that big a deal but the stock wobble is really annoying. The stock on the one I sent back was rock solid with zero play. It was perfect..........

Its an easy fix if its an underfolder. IM me if it is.
