Did you make sure the grip screw was tightened all the way and locktited? I am running a E93 plate with Hogue grip and it doesn't move at all.

I'll work on it again today. Yeah, the grip screw was tight and I still had play for some reason. I'm also looking for a practical way to use a vickers sling

Use a Russian slign? I do use a Wilderness tactical sling on some AK's. You will have to sacrifice an AK D-Ring.

Ended up getting my E93 to work. I think I'm gonna go with the Gear Sector HK loop mount on the Forward rail (MI AK Rail) and use an HK clip for the rear
