I am converting my saiga 12 and trying to decide between the two I like the SAW grip but I have never used the molot and I like the way it looks better so has someone used both and can tell me how the MD arms compares to the tapco or just give me some feedback on the molot?
Thanks
MOLOT is better, by far. The SAW grip is horrendous. You see them on a lot of Saiga 12s because they were about the only non-traditional option for a while (read: different than a plain old AK grip). MD MOLOT grip looks and feels great. Extremely durable too. I have one on every Saiga 12 that I own.
Don't get me wrong, I use Tapco stuff. I just received 2 of the Romanian M10 rifles in 5.45 and they had Tapco fixed stocks on them. After a quick once-over, I noticed that Tapco has improved the texture of the polymer and the stocks look more like Russian or Bulgarian polymer now. No 74 cut, but much better than that weird old stuff they had going on. Great job Tapco.
Check out ronins grips too.

I use Magpul MOE grips on my AKs. I had a Tapco for a while but it's just not comfortable to me, and I hate finger grooves on any weapon.
Thanks for the link I had forgotten about ronin.
I think I will go with the molot style grip and I will prolly get it from ronin as I cannot stand the finger groves either..I wish MD arms made one without them as I am putting alot of there products on my S12
I'm a fan of the US Palm grip...not so much a fan of the Tapco SAW
