They look nice, but the threading is smaller than on the SGLs.

Am I seeing that correctly, can you actually attach a bayonet?

That rifle is $739, plus shipping. The SGL21-61 is $805, shipped, and it comes with a muzzle attachment that's worth $40 maybe.

The biggest benefit of the Cold War rifle is the 14/1 threading (the muzzle options for that thread rate is easily

quadruple what it is for 24/1.5 that's on the SGL), it comes with a G2 trigger, and it's made in the Izhmash factory.

The SGL21-61 has a 2 stage trigger (that I think sucks so bad I switched mine out for a G2, but you can sell the original trigger group for what a G2 costs), it's made in the

Izhevsk factory, comes with a recoil reducing muzzle attachment.

I'm sure others will have some other differences that I'm forgetting/don't know about.

I'd pick the SGL21-61.

I can't argue with the Legion, but my Arsenal was a Cadillac form the box.

This, with one exception.

The arsenal has an OK trigger that's a 15 minute polish session away from being dynamite.

I have 11 arsenals and have worked half of them to a great two stage with a reduced lip on hammer. That being said, I don't like the G2 in my SLR106 because it surprises me every time I pull the trigger. There's no warning.
