Romanian Underfolder + Surefire Scout - rails = ?

I have a romanian under folder, with reverse dong front wood grip, MI mini dot mount w/optic.
im wanting to mount a surefire scout to it, without using a full rail system.
i tried various impact weapon components mounts straight to the upper wood hand guard, but
theres not enough room between wood and gas tube for t nuts. so i tried a plastic, and still having issues.
any ideas?

i have an optic mount (AK MI Mini Dot), but i kinda like that!
maybe i can sell my mini dot mount, get that rail you linked in the first link. then i can just get the new HSP/IWC Thorntail mount

I think he was suggesting that instead of putting the optic on that, you'd put the light on it. Your optic would remain where it is currently.
You'd put the railed gas tube on, with the 1 oclock mount coming off the gas tube in the 9 oclock position (which would put that rail in about the 10 oclock position.) You'd then put the light on that.
I've seen pics of this somewhere, I'll see if I can find any.

You looking for something like this? This is the Ultimak, a Sig micro and a KZ light mount. All fits well. The KZ doesn't block the view through the micro and I have co-witness.
