I'm going to be picking up my Arsenalsgl21-61 this coming Monday and I'm wanting to get her fixed up with a scope mount (AKM slide on) and a red dot. I've been thinking about the scope mount and getting the one selling at www.rsregulate.com. Does anyone know about this mount or can you recommend another one for me? What about a red dot? I will have around $200 for the red dot. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
Joe

I run a PK-23 in the RS mount and like it. Been using the PK-23 for years and it has held up fine and performed well.

+1 for the RS Mount. You can get a Primary Arms M3 clone with the RS Mount for under $200.

Aimpoint T1 Micro on a TWS DogLeg Rail. Reread your post and noticed the price ceiling for the red-dot. I would go with a used H1 Micro from the EE.

Is that co-witnessed?

Yes, that's one of the reasons its so popular, the guy who made it worked his ass off to get it co-witnessed

You can Co-Witness with an Aimpoint. The Primary Arms M3 clone sits a little too high to Co-Witness. The RS mount is really easy to remove off of the AK. So if the optic fails, just remove the mount and the optic and you can use your irons.

The PA M3 clone is a good budget red dot. I have one on an AR and it does just fine as a range optic. Plenty bright and the quality is quite good for the price.

+1 Definitely. Aimpoint ML3 and this mount are great combination.
Thanks to SickMAK90 for turning me on to the mount.
