Thermold 48 rd AK 47 Mags ???

The only synthetics I have run were the circle 10 Bulgy's.

Stick with your circle 10 Bulgy's. 48 rounds + plastic lugs = broken mag.
I bought some Thermolds a while back from CDNN. Not the 48s but the 30s. I had to file the rear tabs a bit to get them to fit. Not a big deal. They seemed very light and flimsy but the first couple trips to the range they worked perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised.
Then I left them fully loaded for a while. I think it was about a month. They've never worked reliably since. It doesn't seem to be a spring or follower issue. There are no cracks or obvious damage anywhere. I think they're just so light and flimsy that they warped under the pressure of being left fully loaded.
At least they were cheap.
