How to remove smell from pouches?
Is there any easy way to remove that storage,or whatever smell from mag pouches?
I tried washing, putting in the dryer with dryer sheet.
Leaving in the 100 degree heat on the deck, all summer long.
Leaving in the sun all day, days on end.
Any remedies?
Thank you.
I never noticed any smell from any of my magazine pouches. I would try putting baking soda in them and let it sit in them for a few weeks, then wash them and see.
Washer and dryer has usually been good enough for me. Either that or Dawn dish soap in the sink.
Febreze and sit outside for a day or two works for me.

I like this idea.
Shortly after my wife and I married, we moved and sold our couch that we spayed with close to a full bottle of Febreze.
We broke that couch in....
It sold at our garage sale....
You mean you WANT to remove the smell?
The musty, surplus smell is half the reason I love the gear, hafta go get new stuff after the smell wears off.

I put mine in a washing machine and it took the color out of them. Beware!
It's not surplus - unless it stinks !!
About $1.00 at the local car wash - hang it from the clamps that hold the mats
Soap
Hi pressure Rinse
Repeat
Drip Dry in sun
(Stay away from the ultra shine wax though)
The pleasing aroma is half the point.
That's the stench of Communism. Get two or three naked chicks and have them roll around in a pool of beer with your pouches until they smell like freedom.

You Sir, are a man of vision! If it were up to me, I'd have that carved into Mount Rushmore, right next to an ice cold can of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer!
