Yugo M67 Brass Cased in an AK?

OK, I have heard from numerous sources that the M67 is about the best 7.62x39 ammo you can shoot in an AK. However, I have also heard that you shouldn't shoot brass cased ammo in an AK due to the type of extractor used.
So what is the real deal?
1. Is this some of the best ammo you can use in your AK?
2. Is there any isue with using it because it is brass cased?

I've never heard that brass will hurt the extractor.
The brass is way softer than the extractor. If anything, steel would be harder on it.
Buy the Yugo and shoot the heck out of it. Its good ammo and any fully functional AK won't have any trouble chewing through it or any other half-decent ammo.

Whoever you talked to is an idiot. Yugo M-67 is good ammo and brass cases are just fine in an AK. Just ask the Finns, The Yugos, The Iranians, The Iraqis, The Syrians, Egyptians, South Africans, Belgians, Dutch, Germans, Chinese, etc... even the US Govt. , all of which manufacture now or at one time in the past, brass cased ammunition for AKs...

Thanks Guys. What I was told, in fact even read it on AK47World.com (I know nothing about the site) was that the strong extractors of the AK could rip the rims off the brass cases or worse causing a stuck case. I kinda figured it was bunk, but figured I would ask before buying.

Package all of that ammo up and send it to me. I would hate to see you harm your AK.
