best spam can surplus 7.62X39 to put away?
I am looking for something to compliment the wolf i have stacked deep. I would like to pick up a few cases of the 7.62X39 surplus sealed in the spam cans, as i have read they are loaded hotter than wolf, and they have better ballistics.
any countries in particular i should look for, or avoid?
thanks
The only military surplus 7.62X39 that's widely available in the US is Yugoslavian.
IDK if it's available in cans.
The other ammunition which is in cans is commercially made.
the yugo comes in a can inside a crate, is all brass copper and lead, hot, accurate, and cheap put two cases away it will last longer than you since it is sealed in a lead tin
sounds just like what i am looking for.
You can buy either the loose-packed ammo in 1,260 round cases or packed on SKS stripper clips in 1,120 round cases. Both available at AIM. Note this is mildly corrosive ammo, so if you don't clean your weapons, it might not be for you. But it is brass-cased, hot, real-deal mil-surp.

That's why I don't use corrosive

The Yugo is issue ammo.
I have a bunch of cans of Romanian. They pop up on gun broker from time to time.
