What manufacturer makes the most accurate 7.62 X 39 ammo and where do you purchase it?

My best luck with commercial N/C Russian steel cased has been with Golden Tiger. Brown Bear comes in 2nd for me. I buy 'em online when I need it, it is available, and (relatively speaking) cheap. The local gunshops are anal rapists, so I cannot patronize them. Never been drunk enough to pay 40 cents a round for Wolf BB.

Lapua. No doubt about it. 1.5MOA from a SGL-21 with a 4MOA red dot sight at 100 yards. Too bad I don't have any precision cross-hair type scopes to fit the side rail mount, to really test the accuracy of this round.

Surplus SAKO has given me the most consistent patterns out of the ammo I've shot.

Best I've shot was from stealthcrf's magical ammo factory. Yugo does well also and leaves me fresh brass :)

Can you post a target... and what set up you are using? I've never seen sub MOA in any 7,62x39... let alone shooting russian import ammo.

All depends

My Wasr 10/63 at 100 yards:
American Eagle 124FMJ: 5-6"
Fiocchi: 8-9" or so (Projected, it wouldn't group better than 4" at 50 yards so I never tried 100)
Wolf Black Box/Ulyanovsk 122 grain FMJ: 3" at 100 yards.

Out of my AES-10B/RPK (At 50 yards as it's new and that is where I group-shot after zeroing, since then I've only long-range plinked at rocks. I do plan on doing a rested group-shooting at 100 yards after I can get some Winchester ammunition)
American Eagle 124FMJ: 1.25"
Fiocchi: 1.75"
Wolf Black Box/Ulyanovsk 122FMJ: 2"

So out of my RPK, American Eagle shot best, but my Wasr shoots Cheap Russian better. Golden Tiger/etc. might be a bit more accurate, but 3" I am plumb happy with, I can find it, it's usually cheaper and I've never had a hiccup with it, so I'm sticking with it. I do want to get some WInchester White Box 7.62X39 and see how it does as it's the cheapest US-made ammunition (Hornady is okay, but I'm sticking with FMJ's. I want a hollowpoint, I'l use 150 grain in my .308 or 55 grain in my .223/5.56)

Winchester brass is awesome to reload as well, just an fyi. I don't ever let Winchester brass escape, for any of my guns. Plus it's at Wal-mart, can't beat that.
