I believe Dan Coonan Industry makes Nodakspud receivers.

Both are high quality. These and Armory are the best US made receivers for AK

Both are very good. I would give a very slight edge to NDS/DCI. I think they are the two best recievers available right now.

From my personal experience, Nodak Spud is a more honest company.

I have ordered both. I built a Yugo Krink on a standard Armory and a Yugo underfolder on a Nodak w/ the RPK style trunion. The Nodak was a better built product IMHO, the pricing was better, and the turnaround time was half of Armory. I won't buy an Armory receiver again, but I would buy a Nodak in a heartbeat.

No, NoDak Spud LLC is a separate company from DC Industries Inc.
NoDak Spud markets some of DCI's products but NoDak Spud is also a proprietary manufacturer of its own products.
Thanks.

I have bought and built on quite a few receivers out there and the ONLY receivers that I will do any build on are Harlan's NoDakSpud receivers. They are the best in the business with quality, customer service, on time delivery, honesty if there is a problem and free custom numbers. No, I am not an employee of Harlan; just a satisfied customer of many years and transactions. I am waiting on receiver numbers of kits that I have ordered to order more receivers.

I have built on both as well and have to give it to DCI for ease of build and better fit of the bolt rails. I found the AUSA bolt rails to be a little too thick and will sometimes bind the carrier assembly. This is an easy fix, but the DCI receivers came 100% ready to run.

Custom serial numbers is another plus.

I have built on 7 NDS receivers and have been extremely pleased. Each one of them was a custom SN, too. I built on one ITM receiver and you could not pay me to use another one of those.

Harlan has always been great to do business with.
