MO Build Party?
I tried a search and couldn't find anything related to this, so here it goes.
I have recently decided that I would like to build my own AK. Is there anyone in MO (I am personally located here in Springfield) that would be interested in helping me out? I am a college student, so needless to say, I don't have any of the major metal working tools or I would try to do it on my own... That and the fact that it would be a hell of a lot safer having someone who knows whats going on make sure I don't happen to botch something up that's going to blow my face off when I decide to shoot it.

Did you check the MO hometown forum? You may be able to get some local help there.
What's your major? If its anything technical, you may be able to fabricate the tools yourself in the shop.
I'm in Tulsa. If you're up for a bit of a drive, I'd be willing to help.
