Hammer pivot hole concern - am I screwed?

Getting ready to build my 2nd AK and while checking the fit of the new Tapco trigger I realized that my hammer pin holes didn't line up; the hole in the rail is just slightly lower than the hole in the flat (rail already welded in, not sure what happened). I thought, no prob I'll just run the drill through and open up the hole in the rail. Set up the drill press and instead of the drill opening up the rail hole it ovaled the receiver hole, crap! Pivot fits but you can see it's just slightly canted down plus you can see a slight gap around the pin from the outside.

I went ahead and put the trigger and hammer in to see how bad it is and found it works, no prob, no grabbing, no slop! Pivot is snug, just looks ugly. Should I worry? I haven't riveted the trunnions in yet and I don't want to go any further if it ain't gonna work.

BTW - this is not a showpiece so ugly doesn't bother me but it does have to work.

Thoughts?

This is like asking a doctor over the phone, "Does this look infected to you?"

Pics will help us make a better determination.

Weld the hole up and re drill it
