I am in the process of building my Yugo M92 virgin kit and am ready to drill the gas port. I read on another site the gas port size should be a #28 bit or about .140". Has anyone measured a factory gas port or drilled their own gas port? Does this sound correct? Thanks

Regrettably (or fortunately, depends on how you look at it) I didn't have to mess with my barrel assembly on my M92A and therefore didn't have to worry about the gas port hole. Good news is it appears to the be same as the Romanian gas port holes (I simply stuck my gas port drill bit from AK builder and it fits snug through the gas block). I hope this helps. Mine is also 5.56x45 not the more common 7.62x39 so that may make a difference but I assume it doesn't.

For everyone's information, a reputable builder indicated the correct size is 3mm. I am going to use a #32 to begin and I can always drill larger if it is undergassed.
