Rear (not front) sight block spring removal
Rich and I are building a PSL and ran into a tiny detail: needing to move the front sight spring from one block to another. How do you remove it and put it back in?
ETA: man we were tired at the time I asked. I meant the rear sight spring. We eventually forced it out. Is there a trick to make it easy?
are you talking about the spring and plunger that keep the muzzle device from unscrewing?
i`m not to familiar with that weapon. but on the ak you have to drive out the front pin that holds
the front sight on then the spring and pin will come out, you`ll see how the pin is shaped then.
be careful that it dont fly out and you lose the pin or spring.
I usually grab the rear leaf spring with a small pair of pliers and wiggle the spring a little side to side until it slides out. Some take a little more pursuading than others. As for removing the rear sight I depress the spring with a special pair of pliers I made and then slide it right out of there.
I think it is the rear sight spring you are wanting to remove.
To start with you need to remove the rear sight, here is a video that shows an easy way to do that.

And for removing the spring just grab it with a needle nose pliers by the front end lift a little wiggle it while pulling forward.
Just about the way radkoch suggested.
