need some info on ak trunions
I want top build a Romanian ak74 clone I have all the parts except a 5.45 trunion that is Romanian. I have looked over the Bulgarian ak74 trunion and the Romanian 7.62 trunion they are the same except barrel size and type of bullet guide. What I want to do is put a 5.45 bullet guide into a 7.62 trunion and build the rifle on that. I have tried the ak74 Romanian bolt and trunion in the 7.62 trunion and it locks up fine. Anybody done this before? I have read before that the trunions are the same dimensions. OR if anyone has a sar2 trunion they want to sell let me know. I want a Romanian marked trunion not a plain one that is aftermarket
