Need some help

So I'm messing with my next kit and the barrel has a barrel nut on the end. I carefully cut the weld and to my dismay––no threads.
Does anyone know where to get another nut I can weld back on? or what do I do now. no I do not want a short barrel.

Pics? What does it look like?
If you measure it out you might be able to thread it for a smaller size muzzle nut.

Can't thread it , it is .500. Barrel is .580 I fucked up. I think now I need something to spot weld back on.

AR barrels are tapped 1/2x28
Use an AR muzzle nut

You think so? boy that would be nice I know AR is 1/2 28 but didn't think it could be threaded , I go check it now.

Well I guess I will sleep tonight , I can thread it. never gonna put a suppressor on it so it will be fine.

If you tap the barrel 1/2-28, you can use one of these then.
