This isn't about what brand to use, because I've already decided on Dewey. The question is what caliber to use. I would think ".22-.26", or would it be ".27 and up"? Or maybe neither.

What is the correct caliber size so I know what rod to get?

Also, are any phosphor bronze bore brushes going to work(Winchester, etc.)? Or should I get a certain brand and size?

Thanks in advance guys!

Bore snake is my preference then a rod and patch to finish. .22 is the ticket

Then the ".22-.26" size is what you need.
