A search has turned up zero. I have used the White Lithium spray and tube type on all my carbines ( G.I.) and Garands. Seems to work great. I'm new to the AR scene and am building my first. Just want to use a good lube.
I use both white lithium grease and Mobile1 synthetic oil. My gun smith and I have come up with a system that works for us:
Oil on most of the internal of the BCG, and on the rails of the BCG in the cold months.
Grease on the back side of the bolt lugs and on the BCG rails in the hot summer months.
Some will disagree or agree, but it works for us. I would say the it won't hurt your gun, but you may want to try it on various areas and see how YOUR riffle performs. You can always clean it off and change products.
I use high temp wheel bearing grease. CLP on the gas rings, inside the carrier where the bolt turns and on firing pin. Carrier rails, bolt tail, lugs, top of cam pin all get grease. Works.awesome and is very easy to clean up carbon as the grease sorta traps it.. I do use CLP in the upper receiver....grease on the CH.

raeed4,
The grease your using is a good medium to use for your lubricating needs. My mith also uses white lithium grease from a can and it last much longer than any typical gun oil or grease that coss much more.
Personally throughout the years I went crazy buying all sorts of gun lubes that all claim superior results compared to there competition. Once I use all these up I intend to go the basic route and use just two products.. I like to use white lithium grease and breakfree CLP. These two are all I need.
