Cleaning patch stuck in new barrel

Hi all,

So I went to run a Hoppe's 9 soaked .22-.270 cal cleaning patch down my brand new .223 Wylde Lilja AR15 barrel using my Tipton cleaning rod and a Hoppe's Elite .22-.243/6mm pierce point jag.........and it managed to get stuck about 5" down the length of the barrel. It literally will not budge no matter how much force I give the cleaning rod, and if I gave it anymore force, the cleaning rod would surely break. In the meantime, I have poured some CLP down the other end of the barrel in hopes it would lube it up better, but no luck so far. I will be cutting these patches down in size in the future, but didn't know how the very first one would go.....clearly too tight. I am using a bore guide also. Any advice? Would Slip 2000 help at all? Would love to get this patch out of there.
