At range today, with different factory ammo I was getting no primer strikes and the unfired round was sticking in chamber. Would not eject. I took out bcg and dissasembled and reassembled, and same problem. I recently put the Varminter upper on a different BM lower. Any suggestions?
It was a broken piece of primer stuck in the chamber. Found it when I brushed and swabbed the chamber. The bcg could not go fully forward because of the primer piece.
But how did a broken piece of primer get stuck in the chamber? This happened on the 2-3 round of the day, handloaded ammo with cci primers.

Sounds like the primer blew and fell off the case head during ejection, then was fed back into the locking lug/chamber area.
What were your handloads?
